Advent Calendar Printable
A free printable Advent calendar for 2026 — numbered days, blank squares for planning, or your own activity list behind each door.
Three ways to use a printable Advent calendar
Numbered and written by hand. Print the numbered grid and decide each day's activity as you go. This suits households with young children whose plans change daily, and avoids filling in twenty-four boxes with things nobody ends up doing.
Planned in advance. Use the filled-in version and type your twenty-four activities before printing. Better for teachers and for families doing an activity Advent rather than a chocolate one — once it's on the wall nobody has to remember what day 17 was supposed to be.
Blank grid. For drawing, collage, or younger children practising numbers. It also works as a party game board or a Christmas countdown chart in a classroom.
Printing and cutting
Print on cardstock if you plan to cut the grid apart into separate doors — ordinary printer paper bends and won't stay stuck to anything. Leave the border intact if you'd rather hang the whole sheet as one poster.
If you're making doors to open, print twice: once for the base sheet and once to cut into squares that get stuck over each number with a glue stick or washi tape.
Frequently asked questions
Does it print on A4 and US Letter?
Yes. The grid is proportional, so it fits both — just pick your paper size in the print dialog.
How many days does it cover?
Twenty-four, for 1 December through Christmas Eve.
Can I change what's behind each door?
Yes, with the "filled in" style — edit the twenty-four lines and the grid updates as you type.
Do you store what I type?
No. Everything happens in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere. If you reload the page, your text is gone, so print before you close the tab.
